You will work closely with a globally distributed engineering team, with most of the team based in India. As a senior member of the team, you will independently drive features from design to delivery and ensure reliable support for our platform during US hours.\nAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for design, architecture, development, and unit testing of applications. You will collaborate with architects, UI/UX experts, and other software developers for developing solutions with the latest technologies. Also, you will unite with other team members to research and develop innovative products and solutions that will help Precisely in staying ahead of the competition\n\nWhat you will do:\n\nTake ownership and deliver results with minimal direction.\nParticipates/owns technical designs, participates in discussions, constructively suggests, and receives ideas & feedback to improve product functionality.\nEnd to end ownership of product features and is expected to create highly scalable, stable, maintainable, and available products and features.\nCommunicate effectively across teams and time zones.\nBalance feature development with operational excellence.\nBring a customer-first mindset while maintaining high engineering standards.\nInnovate and bring ideas and possible solutions to stakeholders and product team to help increase productivity.\nContribute to strategies and roadmap development to meet business objectives with existing or emerging technologies.\nHelp build a platform that can support huge volumes of data, with multi-tenancy and near real-time analytics.\nHave an opportunity to participate, guide, and mentor other people in the team on architecture and design in a hands-on manner.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.\n8+ years of experience in developing Enterprise Software.\nHands-on expertise in: Node.js, Go (Golang), React, MongoDB\nStrong full-stack development experience.\nExcellent communication (oral and written), and exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nExperience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP and cloud native technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and microservices architecture.\nGood understanding of Design Patterns & Architectural Patterns and hands on experience.\nExcellent knowledge of OOP concepts.\nStrong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and cloud-native application development.\nExperience with SQL and/or No SQL databases.\nStrong debugging, troubleshooting and production support skills.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and drive work to completion.\nExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment.\n\nAI Skills/Knowledge:\n\nStrong understanding of AI-assisted software development.\nExperience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).\nUses AI for code review, documentation, and test generation.\nFamiliarity with LLM APIs or agentic workflows.\nUnderstands responsible AI principles including bias, security, and explainability.\n\nPreferred Skills (a plus but not required):\n\nGood experience in Java/J2EE and data modelling and related technologies.\nExperience working on Data Governance, Data Catalog, Data Quality products is a plus.\nPreferred experience working on regulated cloud platforms or enterprise products requiring security, compliance, or government certifications.\n\n#LI-SA1\n\nApplication and Interview Impersonation Notice: Impersonating another individual when applying for employment, and/or participating in an interview process to assist another individual in obtaining employment, with Precisely Software Incorporated (\"Precisely\") is unlawful.
