This position is located on-site and involves working with lead engineers and other contractors. The role will focus on RF hardware design, prototyping, testing, and software integration to support the development of new systems.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\nFollow operational scenarios, architecture framework, and RF performance requirements to develop new system RF designs.\r\nReview the development of new system requirements in regards to RF performance.\r\nAssist with RF component requirement specifications as needed.\r\nResearch and recommend appropriate COTS or vendor-developed RF components based on performance requirements and system constraints.\r\nReview vendor simulations of candidate antenna performance and support the selection of antennas.\r\nAssist with building an RF spread bench to test and evaluate candidate RF system components.\r\nSupport chamber testing of new systems or prototypes and assist with documenting RF block diagrams.\r\nAssist with the development and evaluation of a new system's RF switching hardware.\r\nGenerate and maintain RF component Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) and conduct these procedures.\r\nAssist with troubleshooting RF system issues and ensuring compliance with military standards.\r\n\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nEducation & Experience:\r\n\r\nA minimum of 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's in Science; 1 year with a Master's degree; or a PhD.\r\nMust be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance.\r\nExperience with RF systems is required.\r\n\r\nSkills\r\n\r\nDemonstrated verbal and written communication skills.\r\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\r\n\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\n\r\nActive Top Secret clearance.\r\nExperience with RF component selection, system development, and test equipment.\r\nExperience mitigating co-site RF interference.\r\nExperience using mechanical and electrical drawings.\r\nKnowledge of Electromagnetic Warfare principles.\r\nFamiliarity with aircraft RF safety and relevant military standards.\r\nFamiliarity with Agile Development Methodology and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).\r\nExperience integrating RF systems with military aircraft.\r\n\r\nThis employer is an equal opportunity employer.
