Engineering Technician - 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift openings

Job Description High Level Statement of the Role:The Engineering Technician supports engineering and production operations by assisting with equipment setup, troubleshooting, process improvement, and operator training. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working with manufacturing processes and procedures, hands-on experience with machinery, and the ability to train machine operators in a production environment. This role operates within an FDA-regulated facility and requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety standards, and company procedures.Roles and Responsibilities:· Assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving manufacturing equipment and production processes.· Support production teams with equipment setup, testing, and process improvements.· Train machine operators on equipment operation, procedures, safety practices, and GMP requirements.· Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance standards are met.· Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance activities.· Help identify mechanical or process-related issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.· Maintain accurate documentation related to processes, procedures, training, and equipment performance.· Follow all FDA, GMP, safety, and company policies and procedures.· Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support daily operations.· Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and understand equipment functionality.· Strong mechanical and troubleshooting· Good organizational and time management skills· Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.· Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and machinery safely· Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools and measurement devices· Ability to follow current procedures and advise on updating proceduresQualifications· Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering support environment.· Experience with manufacturing processes, procedures, and training machine operators required.· Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on machinery or equipment experience.· Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred.· Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records.· Ability to use analytical and systematic approaches to span all shifts· Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and production-related systems preferred.Educational· Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred.· Equivalent hands-on manufacturing or mechanical experienceCompany Description When food safety and quality matter, trust the Stik-Pak Standard.
