If you're excited about taking on new challenges, driving innovation, and growing alongside a passionate team, Reed Semiconductor is the place for you.ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement & Technical SupportAct as the primary technical interface for customers, understanding their requirements and proposing tailored solutionsProvide hands-on design support, including schematic reviews, PCB layout guidance, and system optimization advice for successful outcomesConduct customer design validations and assist with initial bring-ups, including on-site support.Design Enablement & Knowledge SharingCollaborate with system and application engineers to deliver technical presentations and training sessions to customers and distribution partnersSupport in explaining datasheets, application notes, and technical product features to ensure customers can design-in and successfully implement Reed Semiconductor's solutionsProduct Development CollaborationCollaborate with system engineers to ensure product specifications enable customer engineers to design with confidence using Reed’s productsProvide customer feedback to the design and marketing teams to influence future product developmentMarket Insights & StrategyIdentify market trends and customer challenges to define new product requirements and propose competitive solutionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with technical decision-makers at customer organizationsMinimum Qualifications3+ years of experience in a Field Applications Engineer or design engineering role within the semiconductor or power management industry. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Solid understanding of power electronics, including buck, boost, and flyback topologies.Preferred Qualifications5+ years of experience in a Field Applications Engineer or design engineering role within the semiconductor or power management industry.Hands-on experience with schematic design, PCB layout, and system-level troubleshooting.Familiarity with power converter topologies and control types relevant to datacenter power requirementsExperience testing + tuning digital controllers for xPU power rails is a strong plus. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
