Position Summary The Training Associate plays a vital role in supporting CADCA’s National Coalition Institute by collaborating with the Director, Deputy Director, and CADCA’s trainers to deliver coalition development support. The Associate will help facilitate comprehensive technical assistance and training for community coalitions, state and federal leaders, and partners. Key Responsibilities Provide timely support to strategic partners via Zoom, Teams, email, or phone. Monitor and analyze coalition development trends and data to enhance service delivery. Assist the Deputy Director with coordinating, delivering, and reporting coalition development support to Federal Partners and Government Project Officers. Proactively follow up on initial requests from customers to coordinate and schedule appropriate training and technical support. Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on coalition development activities for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain and update the coalition tracking and reporting system to meet evolving data collection requirements. Support the Award Application process and Graduation Ceremony at CADCA’s National Leadership Forum. Assist in research efforts and the development of reports and prevention-related publications for the Institute and Training Operations team. Help coordinate logistics and preparation for two major national conferences and additional training events as needed. Organize quarterly meetings for Single State Authorities, youth-serving organizations, and coalitions. Develop and deliver presentations or training at local outreach events and conferences. Participate in outreach engagement activities and provide additional support as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Some experience in project management, substance misuse/use prevention, or related fields. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills and a strong understanding of professional business etiquette. High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and applying best practices in substance misuse/use prevention. Proficient in report writing and communication, with strong skills in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of training event logistics and experience in supporting large-scale events. Self-starter with demonstrated initiative in leading or supporting new projects. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in public health, business, or a related field is required. 0-2 years of relevant work experience Travel Requirements Approximately 10% annually.
