You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including maintaining performance standards, managing schedules for both staff and providers, implementing and optimizing the medical billing system, and overseeing third-party reimbursements, physician billing, collections, contract administration, credentialing and management reporting. Additionally, you will ensure strict compliance with all HIPAA and OSHA regulations and privacy policies.\nSupervisory experience is a requirement for this position, and a background in healthcare management is highly preferred. We are looking for a confident individual who can quickly get up to speed. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively manage professional staff are essential. This role will report directly to the MD owner.\n\nPrimary Job Responsibilities:\n\nEnsure all day-to-day office operations are running efficiently.\nNegotiate and keep insurance contracts and compliance up to date.\nCoordinates with medical billing staff to ensure efficient and accurate revenue cycle management and accounts receivables.\nEnsures providers credentials are up to date and valid for contracted insurances and licensing boards.\nMonitors and reports financial metrics and financial performance.\nPromotes exceptional patient service and care by all levels of the staff. Coordinate monthly staff meetings.\nResolve problems related to staffing, utilization of facilities, equipment and supplies.\nInterviews, hires, trains and manages a productive medical office team and conducts performance reviews alongside the managing physician. Documents processes and maintains employee records.\nSupervision of patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing and collection, data entry and processing, and payment posting.\nAssists with business planning and the improvement of administrative processes.\nEnsures regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
