We're looking for a dependable and compassionate Food Service Baker to join our team. In this role, you'll provide personal care and support that helps residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.ScheduleRequirement: This position requires full open availability, including weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Shifts may vary based on operational needs.What You'll Do:Commercial Baking & Prep: Scratch-bake and prepare daily meals, pastries, and baked goods in high volumes for daily service and special events following standardized recipes. Dietary Compliance & Recipe Scaling: Maintain logs, scale commercial recipes, and adjust batch production to meet specific therapeutic diet plans, texture modifications, and meal counts. Inventory & Stock Support: Assist with receiving deliveries, inventory tracking, cost control, and FIFO (first-in, first-out) stock rotation.Kitchen Sanitation & Equipment Safety: Safely operate, clean, and maintain heavy commercial bakery equipment (e.g., industrial mixers, deck/convection ovens, proofers) and maintain strict health department sanitation standards. Consistently maintain a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen, bakery and food preparation area.
