We work with a diverse student population building relationships. We mentor, empower and educate today’s youth to transition to college and become tomorrow’s leaders.\nThe Program Coordinator will work closely with and is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director of Programs in all aspects of our pre-collegiate programming across four high schools, four middle schools, and six K8 schools in Greeley/Evans School District 6. Primary pre-collegiate programming consists of two Educational Talent Search (ETS) programs (ETS and ETS West) that are federally funded and create educational opportunities for low-income, first-generation students while providing access to higher education and assisting in the transition to college. Program services include group and individual counseling, academic advising and support, exposure to career and educational opportunities, and enrichment events.\nThe Program Coordinator for The Greeley Dream Team is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director of Programs in day-to-day operations as well as program planning, development, and evaluation; monitoring of pre-collegiate program services provided at the targeted schools; providing administrative and leadership support to Academic Advisors; and supervision of Dream Team Tutors. The Program Coordinator also supports the Assistant Director of Programs and Executive Director in the implementation of the mission and goals of The Greeley Dream Team.\nReports to: Assistant Director of Programs\nResponsibilities:\nPROGRAM PLANNING, DEVELOPMENT, & SUPPORT\nEnsure consistent and smooth implementation of pre-collegiate programming.\nCommunicate effectively with Assistant Director of Programs to determine responsibilities for ongoing projects and programs.\nProvide leadership in developing academic workshop curriculum, academic advisor support, student events, field trips, and summer programs.\nSupport the Assistant Director of Programs in the integral role in the development, management, and evaluation of program objectives through administrative support and delegation of tasks.\nLEADERSHIP SUPPORT & TRAINING\nSupport Assistant Director of Programs with weekly staff meetings.\nProvide support with grant initiatives and following best practices.\nProvide guidance, mentoring and job shadowing for academic advisors.\nProvide support in overseeing pre-collegiate program Advisors’ daily and monthly work goals.\nMonitor Advisor progress towards meeting program objectives and grant goals.\nProviding training for professional development opportunities.\nDevelop and conduct new-hire training.\nSupport Assistant Director of Programs with the monitoring of progress toward accomplishment of program objectives and documentation of program activities.\nSUPERVISION & RECRUITMENT OF DREAM TEAM TUTORS\nDirectly oversee and supervise Dream Team Tutors working with students in the target schools.\nRecruitment of Dream Team Alumni and college students as Dream Team Tutors\nDevelop and conduct new tutor trainings\nCoordination of Tutoring schedules each semester\nREPORTS, DATA & CORRESPONDENCE\nCompile data and write reports documenting program outcomes and accomplishments.\nCompose correspondence and reports using a computer.\nAssist in the maintenance of two Blumen database systems and the accurate and secure records pertaining to Dream Team students’ program participation.\nProcess student transfers and complete status updates in Blumen.\nFIELD TRIPS & EVENTS\nSupport annual events and activities as assigned.\nPlanning and supporting field trips and events\nProviding workshop support to Academic Advisors at the target schools.\nTEAM MEMBER of The Greeley Dream Team\nAttend staff meetings.\nAcademic Advising duties as needed.\nCommunicate with co-workers and supervisor.\nAdhere to policies and procedures.\nOTHER DUTIES\nResponsible for carrying out program goals.\nParticipate in local, state, and national conferences as assigned.\nThis position is highly visible to outreach where adherence to protocol, policies, and procedures is expected and of high priority.\nProfessional appearance in dress and manor.\nOther activities as assigned.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in education, social work, counseling, or related field, required.\nMinimum Two years’ experience with TRiO programs or similar pre-colligate programs, including experience in interacting with secondary and post-secondary institutions and students, and documenting and reporting participant progress and accomplishments.\nPrior experience in developing, organizing, implementing program goals and objectives.\nPrior experience with Blumen database preferred.\nPrior experience in grant facilitation.\nPrior experience working with disadvantaged students.\nSelf-motivated with a high level of customer service skill\nExcellent communication skills, both oral and written.\nDemonstrated organizational, multi-tasking, and detail-oriented skills.\nBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.\nSome weekend and evening work will be required.\nCompensation/Benefits:\nThis position offers the following:\n$55,000 -
