We're seeking an Algorithm Engineer to help solve complex detection and classification challenges that support global aviation and homeland security initiatives.\n\nWhether you're launching your career or bringing several years of experience, this is an opportunity to work on innovative technology with real-world impact.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nDevelop algorithms for detection, classification, image analysis, and AI/ML applications.\nDesign tools and methods for data analysis, testing, validation, and model improvement.\nResearch and apply emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, and deep learning.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to move concepts from research to production.\nDocument technical work and communicate results to a variety of stakeholders.\nContribute to innovative solutions that enhance security screening capabilities.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nEducation\n\nBachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.\n\nExperience\n\n Early Career Engineer (0-2 Years)\n\nAcademic, internship, research, or project experience in AI, machine learning, computer vision, image processing, or software development.\nFamiliarity with algorithm development and data analysis.\n\n Emerging Engineer (2-4 Years)\n\nHands-on experience applying algorithms, machine learning models, or data analysis techniques.\nExperience developing technical solutions in academic or professional environments.\n\n Experienced Engineer (5-8+ Years)\n\nProven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing algorithms or AI/ML solutions.\nStrong technical expertise in machine learning, computer vision, image processing, or related disciplines.\nExperience mentoring and providing technical leadership is a plus.\n\nPreferred Technical Skills\n\nExperience with one or more of the following:\n\nArtificial Intelligence & Machine Learning\nComputer Vision & Image Processing\nObject Detection & Classification\nDeep Learning\nPython, MATLAB, C++\nTensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras\nWindows and Linux development environments\nExplainable AI\n\nExperience in aviation security, cargo screening, military systems, or threat detection applications is highly desirable.\n\nAdditional Requirements\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.\nU.S. citizenship required.\nMust be eligible to obtain applicable U.S. Government security vetting.\n\nWhy Analogic?\n\nJoin a team where advanced technology meets real-world impact.
