In response to today’s evolving missions, our goal is to provide quality solutions that enable end users.\nResponsibilities\nArchitects scalable, resilient, flexible and secure system designs\nEnsures alignment of system designs with business goals\nPerforms hands-on implementation of core frameworks and critical system components\nProactively manages technical debt and promotes best practices in code quality, security, and performance by providing technical leadership and performing code reviews\nClearly communicates relevant technical status and direction with non-technical Product Owners and other stakeholders\nLeads teams of software developers by clearly communicating the architectural vision and by maintaining an active presence in the code base\nMentors junior developers through pair programming, architectural guidance, and constructive feedback\nOversees and/or performs product deployment to customer locations\nQualifications\nStrong communication skills\nAbility to collaborate in a team environment\nCapable of working with minimal day-to-day direction\nExpert level proficiency with a modern object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or C#\nProficiency in modern web design paradigms, tools, and languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, etc.\nDesire and ability to quickly and effectively learn new technologies and adapt to new environments and methodologies\nEffective oral and written communication skills\nFlexibility to quickly adjust to the changing needs and priorities of a small, rapidly growing business\nBachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience\nDue to security requirements US citizenship is required.\nAdditional Information\nWe are a small software company based in Logan, UT., but we also have an office in Columbia, MD.
