Through this program, students will have increased awareness of environmental matters and encourage students to pursue environmental/governmental careers.\n\nIn order to qualify for an internship, students must be:\nEnrolled full time in an accredited undergraduate or graduate institution.\nPursuing an education in a directly related curriculum to the Division that they will be working for (i.e. BS/MS in Biology for OES/Permits, BA in Accounting for Fiscal Services, etc.)\nPlease make every effort to attach a copy of your transcript to your application if possible (PDF format preferred). Selected candidates will be required to submit original transcripts upon hire reflecting their eligibility for internship status.\n\nDEQ also recruits student workers for positions across the agency. Student workers are not required to pursue an education in a curriculum that is directly related to the Division in which they will be working.\n\nAll students must provide verification of enrollment from their University upon hire.
