The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced engineer responsible for overseeing, managing, and participating in the design, development, and construction of a wide range of infrastructure projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nTechnical Leadership: Provide technical leadership on complex industrial infrastructure projects, overseeing the design, planning, and implementation phases to ensure successful project delivery.\nProject Engagement: Act as a key liaison between the company and clientele, engaging in project calls, addressing inquiries, and offering expert insights to build trust and rapport with stakeholders. Assisting with development of projects, budgets, & schedules.\nMentorship: Mentor and support junior engineering staff, fostering their professional growth and helping them develop the skills necessary to excel in the field.\nQA/QC Oversight: Implement and oversee QA/QC procedures to maintain the highest level of quality in engineering deliverables, identifying and addressing issues promptly. Able to conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with design, regulations, and standards.\nStrategic Advisory: Collaborate with owners and stakeholders to provide expert engineering advice, assist in project decision-making, and ensure alignment with customer goals.\nTeam Collaboration: Collaborate with internal team members and disciplines to ensure that projects requirements are met, and services are provided in a professional and efficient manner from project conception to completion.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\n5+ years of civil / structural engineering experience\nProfessional Engineering licensure in Civil Engineering\nKnowledge of engineering practices, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications\nExperience in designing concrete and steel using STAAD Pro, RISA, or other computer software.\nExperience with a consulting engineering firm preferred.\nProficiency in MS Windows, MS outlook, MS Excel, MS Word.\nThis is a full-time position at our office in Ruston, LA.
