This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle. This role will also analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required. The position responsibilities outlined below are not all encompassingOther duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary. Responsibilities: 7 years or more of progressively responsible application development experience. Experience with front end development in large-scale Enterprise Java applications Demonstrated ability to create reusable components that can be leveraged across multiple applications. Demonstrated ability to support, review application logs and dive into root cause analysis. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, planning and project management skills. Strong quantitative, analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to influence and work with cross-functional teams. Significant skill required to work effectively across internal functional areas in situations where clear parameters may not exist. Proven record of being a strong *team player* - a whatever-it-takes attitude to complete a project successfully for the team. Strong work ethic and personal integrity; self-directed and self-motivated with a highly developed curiosity and willingness to learn and to teach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and influencing skills. Software development in language pertinent to project (Java, HTML5, CSS3, node.js, JavaScript (jQuery). Strong front end and backend development skills. Solid experience in Java design, coding, testing and debugging techniques. Solid experience in enterprise level J2EE platforms using J2EE design patterns. Solid experience in SOAP/REST web service development. Strong SQL knowledge - especially on DB2 preferred. Spring Framework, JMS, DOJO, AJAX, Eclipse, Hibernate, JUnit, Struts. XML/JSON data interchange formats. Subversion/Git. Jboss, Tomcat is required. Familiarity with IBM DB2 and Oracle databases. Highly motivated self-starter who is very good at learning and mastering new technologies without much guidance. Work with Product team to determine requirements and propose approaches to address users' needs. Analyze requirements to determine approach/proposed solution. Design and Build Solutions using relevant programming languages. Thoroughly test solutions using relevant approaches and tools. Conduct research into software-related issues and products. Bring out-of-box thinking and solutions to address challenging issues. Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment. Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies. Highly self-motivated and directed. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate integrity and maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges. Experience working as an application designer and software developer for enterprise applications. Hands-on software troubleshooting experience. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle including requirements gathering, requirements analysis, design, development, and testing. Knowledge/Experience of database design and file management techniques. Knowledge/Experience of Service Oriented Architectures. Knowledge/Experience of Web based Architectures. Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment. Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies. Highly self-motivated and directed. Open-minded, solution oriented and a very good team player. Must Have SkillsHands on experience in Java (Spring MVC, Spring boot framework). Hands-on experience with Apache Groovy, test automation frameworks, Selenium/Appium, Rest Assured. Hands on Experience in Rest API and container development i.e. Kubernetes. Proficiency in SQL and Scripting (Unix sell scripts and/or Python). Hands on experience in trouble shooting complex Application and SQL problems. Good To Have SkillsExperience in data pipeline development using modern ETL tools specifically on Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica IICS. Experience with Informatica MDM. Experience in databases (Snowflake, DB2, Redshift, etc.), database concepts and dimensional modeling. Experience with Privacy Platform integration is plus.
