When an irregular operation emerges, you triage, decide, and mobilize. When performance is steady, you anticipate the next bottleneck before it forms. This role sits at the center of the airport’s daily mission: safe, compliant, and seamless operations for travelers, staff, and airline partners.\n\nWhat You Will Lead\nRun daily terminal and ramp operations during your duty window to uphold safety and efficiency.\nCoordinate continuously with security, customer service, maintenance, and ground handling teams to ensure end-to-end continuity.\nDirect the response to operational irregularities and on-site emergencies with clear, timely decisions.\nEnsure adherence to applicable aviation regulations and internal policies; escalate issues as required.\nTrack passenger throughput and terminal activity; adjust resources and processes to optimize service quality.\nResolve customer concerns and operational disruptions promptly and professionally.\nCoach, support, and guide front-line and support staff to sustain high performance.\nMaintain strong communication with airline representatives, ground handlers, and airport authorities.\nTake on additional assignments as designated by leadership.\nWhat You Bring\nAt least 18 years of age with a valid state-issued driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.\n5+ years in transportation or aviation operations and a solid understanding of the aviation industry.\nFluent in English across reading, writing, and speaking; able to interpret both printed and digital information.\nComfort with technology, including tablets, computers, and mobile devices; ability to communicate effectively in person and electronically.\nCapability to obtain required clearances and credentials (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal, as applicable).\nSchedule flexibility to support a 24/7 environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nLift and handle items up to 70 lbs.\nStand and walk for extended periods in both indoor and outdoor settings, as conditions require.\nReach overhead and forward; grasp and handle objects.\nPush and pull equipment as needed.\nBend, stretch, squat, and kneel during operational tasks.\nWork amid moderate to occasionally high noise levels.\nHear and respond to spoken instructions and audible alarms.\nPerform repetitive motions involving arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.\nMaintain visual capabilities including close and distance vision, peripheral awareness, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\nCompliance and Legal Notices\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
