SAIC is sub-contractor on the Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract.The MSEIT effort provides leading edge SE&I for the Space Force’s Space System Command. You will support Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) activities in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment. The Systems Integration Engineer will interface and collaborate with SE&I team members, contractors, government civilians and members of the USSF. The Systems Integration Engineer will lead and support several working groups responsible for leading technical discussion, resolve and identify risks, requirement gaps, developing briefings, writing and tracking action items, and authoring meeting minutes.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement integration strategies and processes to successfully integrate satellite communication systems, segments (Ground, Space, Crypto, Terminals), subsystems, elements, and components; manage the technical baselines among different stakeholdersPerform analysis of the systems requirements that define the technical baseline and verification of the technical baselineApply Digital Engineering methods and modeling strategies (i.e. Digital twins) to support integration and test activitiesWork with Government and contractor personnel to close gaps with customer requirements across the program; support major requirements reviews, design reviews, and other associated meetingsLead and support Government/Contractor Working Group meetings—by developing briefings, leading discussion, and writing minutes—to address/resolve risks, issues, and action itemsReview proposed changes to the technical baseline for impacts to enterprise capabilities and to cross-stakeholder integration concernsDefine and deliver alternative solutions to address different integration challenges; manage schedule impact and overall delivery of productsFacilitate review of contractor-developed program documents by performing technical assessments and providing comments, compiling other review team comments, and working with contractors to adjudicate the comments.
