This role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards while maintaining strong customer relationships. The Field Supervisor plays a key leadership role in production management, employee training and development, quality control, and identifying opportunities for additional services.Key ResponsibilitiesCrew Leadership & SupervisionSupervise and coordinate the daily activities of landscape maintenance crewsProvide clear direction, expectations, and job assignments to crew leaders and team membersMonitor attendance, productivity, and overall crew performanceFoster a positive, accountable, and team‐oriented work environmentProduction & Efficiency ManagementEnsure crews meet or exceed production goals and budgeted labor hoursTrack job progress and make real‐time adjustments to improve efficiencyIdentify workflow improvements, equipment needs, and process enhancementsCommunicate schedule changes and priorities to crews and managementEmployee Training & DevelopmentTrain new and existing employees on proper landscape maintenance techniques, safety procedures, and company standardsProvide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedbackConduct job site demonstrations and skill development trainingAssist with performance evaluations and advancement recommendationsCoaching & DisciplineAddress performance issues promptly and professionallyImplement progressive discipline when necessary in coordination with managementReinforce company policies, safety standards, and behavioral expectationsQuality ControlConduct routine job site inspections to ensure high‐quality workmanshipVerify that all work meets company specifications and customer expectationsCorrect deficiencies and provide on‐site coaching to crewsCustomer Communication & UpsellingServe as a primary field contact for customersAddress customer questions, concerns, and service requests professionallyIdentify opportunities to upsell enhancements, additional services, or improvementsCommunicate sales leads and project opportunities to the sales or management teamSafety & ComplianceEnforce all company safety policies and proceduresEnsure crews use equipment properly and maintain safe job sitesReport accidents, incidents, and equipment issues promptly
