The successful PDM case manager works from their home office, and they drive to physician appointments where they will attend appointments with injured workers, delivering appropriate cost-effective outcomes.PDM field case managers work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical providers, workers' compensation adjusters and other PDM team members to continuously assess treatment plans and overcome barriers to achieve maximum medical improvement. The successful candidate will be confident and assertive. They will be able to identify and facilitate preferred provider selections as needed.Candidates will have a strong background in at least one of the following specialties: industrial rehabilitation nursing, medical case management, occupational health, orthopedics, home health care, utilization review, or quality assuranceFamiliarity with regional physiciansCCM, and COHN-S/CM are optional but highly valuedAbility to drive to appointments within a 2-hour radiusActive, unencumbered registered nursing license with a minimum of 5 years' experienceOpportunity to make a difference in reducing health care costs and increasing the value of health care to individuals and their employersCompensation includes hourly rate + phone & internet allowance + mileage reimbursementFlexible field schedule based on caseloadPrivate ownership with a people focused company (we often promote from within!)Daily interaction with some of the most talented people in the medical cost-containment industryWe're on YouTube!
