We’re seeking Movers to join Alexander’s team and help us deliver world-class moving experiences to our customers in our Eagan, MN office! Alexander’s will provide all necessary materials, tools, and training for individuals without moving experience as long as the employee can demonstrate motivation, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. Successful candidate must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen. This position, as a safety sensitive position, will be included in our random drug testing program.\n\nROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nWorking as a team to successfully complete customer relocations.\nMoving duties including but not limited to packing, loading, lifting, unloading, unpacking and placement of items for our customers.\nFollow direction provided by crew supervisors.\nEffectively communicate with crew leads, other crew members, and customers.\nWorking in the warehouse on non-road days.\nPREFERRED SKILLS\nStrong work ethic and dependability\nEffective listening skills\nCapable of following direction\nDependable transportation\nProfessional conduct\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED\nExperience with relocating homes, offices, laboratories is a plus but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidates!\nPHYSICAL AND MIND SET REQUIREMENTS\nCommunicating professionally with customers, crew members and office personnel.\nAbility to lift and move loads of up to 75 lbs.\nWORKING ENVIRONMENT\n40 - 50 hour work week, overtime as required.\nPositions will have variable hours and could include long hours and /or nights/weekend shifts.\nWork occurs indoors and outdoors in both winter and summer regardless of weather conditions\nCOMPANY BENEFITS\nMedical, Dental and Vision health plans available.\n401K retirement plan with company match.\nPaid holidays, paid time off and sick leave.\nThe above statements are intended to describe the essential functions and related requirements of persons assigned to this job.
