Program coordinator will support in person courses.\n\nOVERVIEW\n\nAs a Part-Time Program Coordinator, you will support a cohort of students and schools in Abilene, Texas and across the United States. You will support Code2College classes virtually and in person, lead student check-ins, support recruitment, and participate in Code2College events and other program activities.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\nStudent & Program Support\n\nSupport a portfolio of student participants in Abilene, Texas and across the United States, serving as a consistent point of contact throughout their program experience.\nLead student check-ins, monitor engagement and participation, and provide follow-up and support as needed.\nSupport virtual and in-person Code2College classes, including observing classes and helping ensure students have the support they need to participate and succeed.\nDraft and coordinate student-facing communications, reminders, and other program materials.\nSupport student recruitment and onboarding activities.\n\nProgram Data & Improvement\n\nTrack and analyze student-level performance and engagement data to identify meaningful insights and opportunities to improve program effectiveness.\nSupport programmatic projects and initiatives, including implementation, coordination, and follow-through.\n\nStakeholder Engagement\n\nBuild and maintain relationships with student participants, volunteer instructors, schools, and other stakeholders.\nHelp cultivate a strong sense of community within and across Code2College programs.\nSupport communication and coordination with program partners and other stakeholders.\n\nEvents & In-Person Programming\n\nParticipate in and support Code2College in-person events, including recruitment events, workshops, promotional events, partner events, and lunch and learns.\nSupport event preparation, execution, and follow-up as needed.\n\nSCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY\n\nMust be available Monday through Friday, 3:00–6:00 PM CST to support Code2College classes, with additional availability outside these hours for events and caseload responsibilities, for up to 30 hours per week.\nAdditional availability outside of these hours is required for student support, program responsibilities, and events.\nThis position is up to 30 hours per week.\nMay require occasional work outside of normal business hours and on Saturdays.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING\n\nWe are looking for someone who is early on in their career or looking to move into the non-profit education space, is eager to grow and develop, and is committed to our mission to equip minority and low-income high school students with the professional skills they need to excel in STEM degrees and careers.\n\nYou have a love of learning. Your work days will be exclusive to Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday expectations for in-person events such as student recruitment and supplementary events, volunteer trainings and workshops.
