Enrollment Registrar Specialist - School of Social Work **GENERAL DUTIES** Administers College registration operations under management direction. - Coordinates registration services such as grade collection entries and changes, publication of semester course offerings, final examination schedules, classroom scheduling and requests for student information - Promotes policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations; advises College personnel regarding the development and implementation of responses to regulatory changes - Oversees the conformity of record release procedures to management policies and legal requirements, including the Family Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other applicable laws and regulations governing the confidentiality of student records - Creates and reviews student communications from the Registrar's Office; ensures transcript and Degree verification requests are handled in a timely manner - Recommends and implements improvements to office operations; assists with strategic planning - Prepares reports and analyses on registration activities - May train faculty and staff on retention techniques, record-keeping protocol and/or registration systems - May supervise office operations and/or department budget - Performs related duties as assigned. Job Title Name: Enrollment Registrar Specialist **CONTRACT TITLE** Higher Education Assistant **FLSA** Non-exempt **CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION** Under the supervision of the Associate Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs, along with the CUNY Title Overview, the Enrollment Registrar Specialist will be responsible for: + Maintain and update course and student data, ensuring sufficient course sections are scheduled based on program enrollment + Coordinate class schedules to align with practicum requirements and other academic timelines + Serve as the primary liaison with the Enrollment/Admissions office, monitoring student registration to inform admissions decisions and support achievement of enrollment targets + Oversee all certification processes and procedures required for the LMSW and LCSW licensure + Manage and ensure completion of all Degree Audits, providing resolutions to arising issues. + Serve as the school's liaison with the Registrar's Office on issues pertaining to room reservations, course scheduling, registration, web attendance, web grading and change of grade records + Coordinate with the Director of Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management and the Practicum Education Department to assure that student problems are appropriately resolved. + Manage, organize, and maintain data related to field of practicum and workshop requirements + Assist with special projects as assigned and needed + Support tracking functions for the School of Social Work. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience required. **OTHER QUALIFICATIONS** **Campus Specific Qualifications** + Possess a graduate degree and at least two years of supervisory skills + Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills. + Proficient in Excel, and Access + The ability to learn College specific databases. **COMPENSATION** $82,663 - $94,909, Salary commensurate with education and experience.
