As we scale our engineering and manufacturing capabilities, we are seeking a Senior Program Manager to serve as the operational backbone connecting our core functional teams.About the RoleThe Senior Program Manager is a critical cross-functional leadership role responsible for orchestrating all activities between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Management. This individual will own the program operating cadence — ensuring that commitments are made, tracked, and delivered on time, within scope, and to specification. The ideal candidate brings deep familiarity with electronics and/or components industry workflows, a rigorous process orientation, and the presence to lead and build a high-performing program management team.Key ResponsibilitiesCross-Functional Coordination• Serve as the primary integration point between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Management, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables• Facilitate structured program reviews, sprint planning, design reviews, and milestone gate meetings across all functions• Identify and resolve cross-functional dependencies, bottlenecks, and conflicts before they impact program commitments• Maintain a consolidated program dashboard and communicate status, risks, and issues to senior leadership on a regular cadenceProgram & Process Management• Develop, implement, and continuously improve program management processes, templates, and tools tailored to the electronics/components industry• Define and manage program schedules (NPI timelines, production ramp plans, ECO cycles) using methodologies such as APQP, stage-gate, or agile-hardware frameworks• Drive adherence to design freeze, BOM release, qualification, and production readiness milestones• Lead risk identification, RAID log management, and mitigation planning across active programs• Establish and enforce change control processes to manage scope changes across engineering and manufacturingManufacturing & Engineering Interface• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure DFM feedback is incorporated early and consistently in development cycles• Track NPI-to-production transitions, production readiness reviews (PRRs), and first article inspections (FAIs)• Coordinate capacity planning discussions between engineering resource needs and manufacturing production schedules• Monitor supplier qualification timelines and component lead times, escalating risks as appropriateTeam Leadership & Development• Build, mentor, and lead a program management team as Sheetak scales its product portfolio and production volume• Define roles, responsibilities, and career development pathways for program managers and project coordinators• Champion PM best practices and drive organizational adoption of standardized tools and reporting frameworksStakeholder Communication• Prepare and present executive-level program status reports highlighting milestone achievement, schedule variance, and risk posture• Act as a trusted advisor to Product Management on feasibility, resource constraints, and realistic program timelines• Engage customer-facing teams to communicate product delivery timelines and technical readinessRequired Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or related discipline); advanced degree or MBA a plus• 8+ years of program or project management experience in electronics, semiconductor, electromechanical components, or a closely related industry• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs spanning engineering design, NPI, and volume manufacturing• Strong working knowledge of hardware development lifecycles, including design review gates, qualification testing, and production release processes• Proficiency with program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar)• PMP certification or equivalent (e.g., PgMP, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) strongly preferred• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs at varying stages of maturity• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor messaging to technical and executive audiences alikePreferred Qualifications• Experience in thermoelectrics, thermal management, power electronics, or advanced materials• Background working in ITAR-regulated or defense/aerospace supply chain environments• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and control plan processes• Experience scaling a program management function from early-stage to structured, repeatable operations• Hands-on exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiativesWhat We Offer• Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus• Equity participation in a high-growth deep-tech company• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits• Flexible hybrid work environment• Collaborative, mission-driven culture at the frontier of solid-state thermal technology• Opportunity to shape the program management function from the ground upSheetak is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
