(56-hour work week)\n\nWe're hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers.\n\nAdditional Incentives:\n\nPrior paramedic experience considered for placement on wage scale\nOpportunities for overtime and regional / federal deployments\n$2K annual tuition reimbursement\nPaid training and continuing education\n\n**YOU ARE REQUIRED TO UPLOAD ALL ACTIVE CERTIFICATIONS YOU CURRENTLY HAVE ON YOUR APPLICATION OR YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AT THIS TIME.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAssess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.\nUtilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.\nCommunicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.\nAct as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.\nDrive the ambulance on 911 responses.\nWork collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.\n\nOther Responsibilities:\n\nParticipate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.\n\nRequired Education/Certifications/Licensures :\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)\nCA State Paramedic License\nCA State Driver's License\nCA State Ambulance Driver's License (from DMV)\nMedical Examiner's Certificate\nParamedic Certificate (San Diego County card)\nBLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic\nDriving record compliant with company policy (from DMV) if contingent offer is made\nPass Physical Agility Test (PAT)\nSome work experience, preferably healthcare\n\nWhy Choose AMR ?
