Pharmacist

NuCara LTC is a closed door long-term care pharmacy located in Waterloo, IA. We specialize in packaging and distributing medications to nursing homes, assisted living facilities and group homes in Eastern Iowa. As we continue to grow we are adding new members to our team and are currently looking for a full-time Pharmacist to join our healthcare team.This position will have a focus on delivering patient-centered clinical service, dispensing medications, and ensuring a safe, effective and cost-efficient medication therapy. At NuCara, we prioritize medication management with the goal of delivering the best pharmacy value without sacrificing the quality of care prized by our patients. Candidates should be highly organized, highly motivated, be able to work in a team, and must be able to use available resources to provide appropriate patient care. The position requires a graduate of an accredited college of Pharmacy with BS or higher in Pharmacy, as well as a current Iowa Pharmacy License.The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday working 40 hours per week. On-call requirement would be 1-2 days per week plus every third weekend.
