Programs are held after school at the students' elementary schools in the ABC school district. The ideal candidate is passionate about mathematics, has a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, and is ready to pass on a love and passion for math to their students.\nEach tutor will be working with a group of 6-8 students in need of remedial math support, to help them catch up from learning losses. Tutors will be working from a set lesson plan and curriculum, with lots of room for creativity in teaching approaches that will engage their students and help them grow.\nWe are looking for tutors who are passionate about education, enjoy working with elementary-aged children, and want to be innovative and creative in their approaches to engaging students in learning.\nPreferred Availability:\nmust have at minimum m/w or t/th availability, preference for applicants who can work M-Th\nExample Shifts\nM-Th: 1:30-4:30\nM, T/Th: 2:30-4:15\nM-Th: 2:45-4:15\nJob Requirements:\nTutors must be able to teach math at an elementary level (through 6th grade).
