Job Description Essential Duties/Responsibilities:If the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.Performs all duties and activities in a manner that conforms to site specific safety requirements, company policy, state and federal regulations.Diagnose malfunctioning components and equipment in an expeditious mannerRepair malfunctioning and down equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance by inspecting, lubricating, replacing and/or adjusting equipment and components. Completes reports and records of repair and maintenance activities, work orders and inspections. Installs new installations in compliance with acceptable electrical practices and in compliance with the respective regulations as directed. Maintain proper face ventilation both permanent and temporary controls. Load and unload materials and supplies as required.Other Duties/Responsibilities:Perform other duties as required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Able to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.Process the ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.Familiar with the job procedures necessary to complete task in a safe manner.Should be able to cut and weld.Familiar with the machinery and equipment's function and operation.Know the Safe Job Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, company safety policies, and applicable rules and regulations.Working Environment/Physical Activities:The operator must constantly be attentive to the changing geological conditions and surrounding environment. xhyhwjd Education, Qualifications and Training:Underground coal miner's certificateAnnual 8-hour refresher trainingOn-the-job experienceVocational training (optional)Other qualifications as required by contract, regulations, and/or management.
