American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Springfield, IL.Job Details• 562-bed Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated acute care hospital,• Vascular ultrasound unit with an average daily census of 20-35 procedures per day,• Adult patient population,• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM,• Overnight and weekend call required,• 2-3 weekends required per 13-week contract,• Rotation to an offsite location on Mondays and Fridays on a departmental rotation basis,• Charting in Cerner (experience required),• No floating within scope required for this role, though all travelers may be asked to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility,Job Requirements• ARDMS or CCI certification preferred; license required if applicable,• Active professional licenses and certifications required at time of consideration,• BLS required (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI AHA cards not accepted),• Experience working with an adult patient population required,• Dialysis graft study experience preferred,• Cerner EMR experience required,• Must be in Illinois 3 business days prior to compliance deadline to meet fingerprinting requirements,• SSN and DOB required for consideration,• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction,• Any permanent or PRN employee of the Memorial Hospital System must have a 12-month separation before being considered as a traveler,• Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays,• RTO is ideally no more than 5 days for the contract; requests exceeding 5 days require facility approval,• Travel pairs are not accepted at this facility,• Any scrub color is acceptable as long as it is a solid color,• Free parking is available with a permit obtained during orientation,• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
