Registered Behavior Technician
Overview
We are seeking an RBT to join our team of speech, OT, and ABA therapists. You will provide behavioral therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts
- Collect and record data on observable client behavior
- Assist in the development of care plans and treatment goals
- Educate and train families on implementing behavior management techniques
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
Skills
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques
- Strong understanding of data collection methods
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles
- Experience working with individuals with autism or special education needs
- Ability to provide patient care with empathy and compassion
- Excellent communication skills for working with people with autism
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
