Reinsurance Pricing Actuary

Acumen is partnering with a leading global (re)insurance organization that’s looking to add a Pricing Actuary to its team. This role focuses on evaluating the profitability and viability of reinsurance proposals across several casualty and specialty lines, working closely with underwriting and senior leadership.Responsibilities:Analyze treaty reinsurance opportunities across Umbrella, GL, Commercial Auto, Cyber, and Facultative lines.Apply and enhance actuarial pricing methodologies using internal and external data sources.Improve pricing tools, processes, and analytical frameworks for greater efficiency and consistency.Communicate pricing results clearly to underwriters, leadership, and external partners.Participate in underwriting audits and client meetings.Stay current on industry trends and market developments impacting pricing.Support additional analytical and strategic projects as needed.QualificationsCasualty reinsurance pricing experience5+ years of actuarial experienceNear ACAS or higherSkills in R, Python, SQL, or similar tools.Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or related field.
