The WDTC plans, conducts, evaluates, reports, and supports Chemical and Biological (CB) and non-CB testing efforts for the Department of Defense (DoD), other federal agencies, private industries, and foreign Governments (e.g., environmental assessment/impact evaluations, weapons and munitions demilitarization, chemical energetics/homemade explosive testing, unmanned systems testing, direct and indirect fire weapons testing, hazard assessments, and technical/logistical support of operations at DPG).\n\nAt DPG, SA-TECH is looking to bring a Range Scheduler / Junior Project Manager onto our team to support program efforts and success at this major DoD test facility.\n\nSpecific duties include (but are not limited to):\n\nPerform schedule and cost tracking and reporting.\nAssist in coordinating and deconflicting the use of ranges, test areas, training areas, facilities, and associated resources in support of testing, training, and operational activities at an Army test installation.\nReceive, review, process, and maintain requests for ranges, test areas, training areas, facilities, and other installation resources.\nServe as a central coordination point between Range Operations, test managers, military units, government customers, contractors, and installation support organizations.\nOperate and maintain scheduling information within the Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS) or other approved scheduling and range-management systems.\nEnsure that range resources are used efficiently while maintaining compliance with installation safety requirements, range regulations, environmental restrictions, operational priorities, and established scheduling procedures.\nCoordinate and deconflict competing requirements involving ranges, test areas, facilities, airspace, roads, maneuver areas, and other installation resources. Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.\nParticipate in scheduling, synchronization, and coordination meetings to identify upcoming requirements and resolve resource conflicts.\nEnsure scheduled activities are properly coordinated with other operations that could affect testing or training, including airspace restrictions, road closures, explosive operations, live-fire activities, aviation operations, maintenance activities, and other hazardous operations. Manage competing priorities in dynamic environments.\nMaintain accurate schedules and documentation.\nManage and track the utilization of ranges, facilities, and test areas for workload forecasting and resource planning; prepare and distribute schedules and operational bulletins; communicate with internal and external customers about scheduling status and conflicts; assist in prioritizing scheduling with resource limitations; identify trends for long-range planning; maintain records in compliance with security protocols; and perform additional duties to ensure the efficient operation of the installation range complex.\nMaintain awareness of range capabilities, limitations, hazards, geographic locations, access requirements, and restrictions to assist customers in identifying appropriate locations for their activities.\nStrong organizational and attention to detail.\nProficient in reading maps and operational procedures.\nReview CWO requirements, perform technical approaches, provide technical expertise for the design and execution of training and testing programs.\nPerform as an SME in an area critical to testing, training, and problem-solving.\nDevelop and manage work breakdown structures and earned value management measurements.\nEstimate costs.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nWork Conditions:\n\nWork may be performed in the field and would expose you to the environment.\nWork with, and around, physical equipment, potentially in challenging outdoor/field conditions, requiring adaptability.\nMust be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.\nMust be able to view computer monitors for extended periods.\nMust be able to lift 30 pounds unassisted.\nMust be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks that require such protective gear.\nRequirements:\n\nEducation/Experience/Skills\n\nAssociate’s degree from an accredited college or university or a combination of project management experience and education.\nExperience in project management to include schedule and cost tracking, reporting, and communication with customers.\nMust be able to review CWO requirements, perform technical approaches, provide technical expertise for the design and execution of training and testing programs, perform as an SME in an area critical to testing, training, and problem-solving.\nMust be able to develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and long-range schedules for testing, training, and other range activities.\nMust be experienced in the development and management of breakdown structures and earned value management measurements and cost estimating.\nCoordinate and deconflict competing requirements involving ranges, test areas, facilities, airspace, roads, maneuver areas, and other installation resources.\nMust understand WDTC operating policies procedures, regulations and guidelines.\nMust be competent in basic computer software (MS® Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).\nMust have a commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.\nCurrent Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.\nU.S. Citizenship required and you must have a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire date and maintain this clearance throughout employment.\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.\nAll candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver’s Record, and a Criminal Background Investigation.\n\nSupporting Our Warfighters:\n\nAs a highly regarded DoD employer, SA-TECH recognizes that our success is indicative of our team members' hard work and dedication towards a common goal… Supporting our Warfighters.
