Learns manufacturer guidelines relative to the repair and installation of devices. Provides support to the installation team onsite. Training is supplied by mentorship program with other branch technicians, manufacturers, online training courses, and the Patterson Technology Center.Essential FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. To request a reasonable accommodation, notify Human Resources or the manager who oversees the position. Inventory Management: Determines parts, supplies or tools needed to complete service requests. Manages vehicle inventory and restocks as necessaryVehicle Maintenance: Ensures proper vehicle maintenance guidelines and safe driving habits as issued by company and associated vendorsInstall and/or Repair Dental Equipment: Performs standard system installations and tests the functionality of all components. Acquires knowledge on the installation procedures and jobsite protocol from team members. Follows specific manufacturer guidelines and company, OSHA and other applicable laws and regulations related to asepsis. Completes all required service forms (work order entry, inventory, BRH forms, expense reports and/or purchase card statements, time sheet and equipment-related items)Customer Relations: Works closely with team members in keeping the customer and inside team up to date on project timeline(s)Additional functionsIn addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may perform the following additional functions.Mechanical Aptitude: Has the desire to repair, assemble and disconnect mechanical equipmentCustomer Service: Supports customer needs through responding in a timely, professional manner.
