They will be responsible for assisting with grant program components, providing supervision to doctoral students, developing didacts with Education Director, coordinating with the Project Director, assisting with evaluation, distribution, and analysis of annual data. In addition, they will assist in compiling the annual report. This individual will report director to the Principal Investigator, Dr. Shareefah Al’Uqdah. They will also be required to engage in course coverage for two courses in Spring 2024. This is a full-time appointment which requires in person activities.\nSUPERVISORY ACCOUNTABILITY:\nN/A\nPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:\nCoordinate speakers for our professional development/didactic seminars\nCreate and update curriculum to include substance abuse training.\nAdvise students and ensure they are obtaining correct hours on their practicum sites.\nCreate and collect measures for annual grant reporting.\nServe as a teacher’s assistant for practicum, externship, and psychopathology courses.\nCoordinate and communicate with substance abuse community stakeholders.\nAssist with grant activities as needed.\nCollaborate with faculty and community stakeholders for program improvement.\nWork closely with other university, college, and division faculty and professionals\nWork collaboratively with faculty, students, and community stakeholders\nParticipate in grant governance with other staff and students.\nCreate flyers, graphics, and social media postings.\nAdditional duties may be required as needed for grant administration.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nTerminal degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) Licensed as Psychological Associate or Psychologist in DC. Prior experience teaching (TA accepted). Evidence of strong writing skills. Evidence of strong clinical skills (APA accredited internship preferred). Use of Qualtrics, Canvas, Microsoft Office Suites, and SPSS.
