This is an on-site position reporting to our manufacturing facility in York, PA.At PCC, you’ll be part of a skilled team that delivers high-quality, made-to-spec components where precision, reliability, and customer focus matter. Whether you’re driving results in the office or making them happen on the shop floor, you’ll collaborate across departments to solve problems, support efficient operations, and help ensure every component is completed safely, accurately, and with precision!The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and programs that ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace. This role plays a critical part in fostering a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in a discrete heavy manufacturing environment.Essential Duties of the EHS Manager:Safety Program ManagementDevelop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and training programs.Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.Environmental ComplianceEnsure compliance with environmental regulations (EPA, DEP, etc.).Manage hazardous waste disposal, air and water permits, and sustainability initiatives.Maintain records and submit required environmental reports.Training and CommunicationDeliver safety training for new hires and ongoing employee education.Promote safety awareness through campaigns, meetings, and signage.Serve as the point of contact for all EHS-related matters.Regulatory and ReportingMaintain OSHA logs and ensure timely reporting of incidents.Interface with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.Stay current with changes in EHS laws and regulations.Emergency PreparednessDevelop and maintain emergency response plans.Coordinate drills and ensure readiness for fire, chemical, or weather-related emergencies.Education/Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or similar credential preferred.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management software.US citizenship is requiredPCC offers a comprehensive benefits package to include:401(k) matchingMedical insuranceDental insuranceDisability insuranceLife insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountPaid time offWork-life balancePrecision Custom Components/DC Fabricators is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to a workplace where everyone is treated with respect.
