Work with the manufacturing staff to achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results and employee performance. Make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.\nEssential Responsibilities\nDirect the work activities of hourly employees in the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of products.\nFacilitate the hourly workforce by setting clear expectations on production output, EHS compliance, and quality workmanship.\nResponsible for daily workflow, job allocations and shift support coordination.\nDevelop and maintain a positive and respectful work environment with all employees.\n• Assure compliance with all company procedures to ensure quality. • Compile and analyze production records. Quality, OTD, Effective hours, etc. and provide weekly status to management.\nHelp coordinate production focused improvement programs.\nRecruit, hire, and train employees. Creates job descriptions, perform interviews, make recommendations for hire and develop training plans.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Production / Operations Management)\nRequired Skills:\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills\nAbility to influence others and lead small teams\nAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneously\nProven analytical and organizational ability\nAbility to foster trusting relationships with colleagues\n. • Experience coordinating activities within functional responsibility and collaborating with other groups to achieve results.\nExperience hiring and interviewing candidates\nExperience with performance management and terminations\nExperience defining a work shift/schedule\nExperience coaching employees\nExperience training employees Desired Skills\n: • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities\n. • Team management & leadership skills.\nAttention to details under pressure.\nTime management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.\nUnderstanding of principles of Lean Manufacturing and six-sigma and how to effectively utilize the selected tools.\nUnderstanding of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) with proficiency in AX-2012\nU.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
