Your day-to-day work will directly impact our patients' health and experience.* Prepare exam rooms: sanitize, stock supplies, and ensure medications/vaccines are ready for the day* Review upcoming appointments and identify gaps in care (mammograms, colonoscopies, immunizations, etc.)* Escort patients to rooms and manage patient flow to maximize efficiency* Take and record vitals, patient history, allergies, medications, and current concerns* Assist with procedures, including EKGs, Holter monitors, and in-office testing* Collect and process lab specimens; track and document results* Perform quality control on equipment and testing materials* Help at the front desk when needed - greeting patients, answering phones, verifying insurance* Collaborate with providers and the care team to ensure the best patient outcomesWhat You Bring:* Graduation from a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program is required* Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (NHA, AMT, AAMA, NCCT)* BCLS certification (in-person training only, American Heart Association)* Strong clinical skills including phlebotomy and aseptic technique* A team-first attitude and commitment to providing respectful, quality careSalary RangeUSD $24.00 - USD $31.00 /Hr.Why You'll Love Working Here:* Be part of a mission-driven organization rooted in compassion and excellence* Work with a supportive, collaborative team that values your input* Enjoy opportunities for growth and development within Catholic Health* Make a real impact in patients' lives - every single day
