Conforms to corporate policies and procedures, upholds ethical standards, and exemplifies corporate values, with an emphasis on integrity and service.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nThoroughly understand project documents, including drawings, specifications, and addenda.\nAssist Project Manager with distribution of project documents.\nManage shop drawings and submittals, reviewing for conformance to project requirements, transmitting to appropriate approver, and logging appropriately.\nManage Request for Information (RFI) process, gathering pertinent information, coordinating with Project Manager and Superintendent, logging appropriately, and posting answers to As-Built drawings.\nAssist Superintendent with management of daily jobsite operation, preparing correspondence and meeting minutes, creating task lists, etc.\nPromote jobsite safety with an achievable goal of zero jobsite incidents. Actively participate in safety meetings, job walks, and other safety-specific tasks.\nCoordinate and direct the activities of professional service providers such as material testing and surveying firms.\nAssist Project Team in implementation of Quality Management System and compliance with QMS protocols.\nEnsure accurate daily update of As-Built drawings.\nLead assigned elements of project closeout, including Punch List, Owner turnover manuals, required Owner training.\nThis job is safety sensitive for medical marijuana purposes.\nThis position requires driving a personal vehicle on behalf of the company or a company vehicle; therefore, the applicant must successfully complete a motor vehicle records check, possess, and maintain a current, valid driver's license in their state of residence, and immediately self-report convictions/violations/tickets to the DOT Compliance Specialist as per Company Policy. Any negative change in the status of the employee’s driving record may result in the revocation of the employee’s privilege to drive for the company.\nAll other tasks as assigned.\nEducation/Skill Requirements:\nA 4-year college degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or similar program is preferred.\nSome career experience in commercial construction preferred.\nExcellent written and oral communication.\nMust be willing and able to speak before groups of people in project interviews and meetings.\nOSHA 10-hour training.\nMicrosoft Office suite.\nSage Estimating.\nSage 300 Construction and Real Estate (accounting application).\nScheduling software(s).\nProlog Manager.\nMaintain positive relationship with clients, designers, and vendors.\nActively promote safe execution of projects, with an achievable goal of zero jobsite incidents.\nRead and interpret drawings and specifications.\nRead and interpret building codes, zoning ordinances, OSHA requirements, and other legal restrictions.\nUnderstand construction schedule and anticipate project flow.\nPrepare minor and miscellaneous pricing.\nAcute attention to detail to assist in research, investigation, or financial review.\nManage multiple scopes of work, both subcontracted and self-performed.\nPlan, prepare and run jobsite meetings as needed.\nWork in a collaborative team environment.\nPhysical Demands:\nTravel overnight as projects or corporate responsibilities require.\nContinuously sit, stand, or walk.\nBend, squat, climb stairs, ladders, and occasionally work off elevated surfaces.\nLift frequently, occasionally up to 50 pounds.\nWork environment:\nOffice, cubicle, or workstation.\nJob trailer or jobsite office.\nActive project sites for job walks.\nAA/EOE.
