Responsible for daily upkeep, preventive maintenance, small repair and tasks, special projects, and communicating larger maintenance needs to the General Manager.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\nEnsure the bestpossible lodging experience for each guest.\n\nExecute and follow the preventative maintenance procedures and guidelines.\n\nFollow proper grooming and appearance guidelines.\n\nWear a provided maintenance uniform and nametag at all times on property.\n\nOrder and install small maintenance items as needed for repair, under direction of the General Manager.\n\nEnsure par stocking of regularly used parts and supplies.\n\nComplete tasks and assignments on the daily Maintenance Checklist.\n\nPrioritize and complete Maintenance Request Forms ASAP.\n\nComplete Preventive Maintenance program on a timely basis.\n\nAbility to work flexible hours.\n\nRespond to maintenance emergencies on a 24 hour call basis.\n\nPractice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens.\n\nPractice safe chemical handling as prescribed in Material Safety and Data Sheets.\n\nPerform and document chemical readings from the swimming pool and the spa. Certified Pool Operator will be required within first 30 days of employment.\n\nProgram telephone equipment according to hotel needs.\n\nObserve equipment and utility meter readings.\n\nLearn emergency procedures and fire alarm panel.\n\nServe in the capacity of Manager On Duty (MOD) if needed.\n\nPerform any and all duties not specifically outlined above that are an inherent part of the position.
