Welcome to Bosch!\n\nJob Description\n\nMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\nProvide technical support for PLC topics in production.\nTroubleshooting support for downtime issues in production lines.\nDiagnosis equipment malfunctions including complicated repairs and adjustments.\nDevelop process and cycle time improvement to increase performance in production.\nSupport implementation of new automation devices & vision systems in manufacturing processes cells.\nRobotics issues support. Implementations and/or troubleshooting.\nElectrical installation and PLC programming support for entire projects (offline and in production).\nInterface with other technicians and engineering groups to achieve best solutions to process control problems.\nSupport Internal PLC training and mentoring of less experienced technicians.\nEnsure compliance of Quality basic principles.\nActively promote and support the Bosch production system, participation in Continuous Improvement projects, policy implementation and teamwork.\nIt is the associate's responsibility to know and apply the EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) Policies, according to the following responsibilities:\nComply with legal and corporate requirements and applicable regulations.\nComply with Security requirements applied for your area.\nComplete assembly equipment automation and robot targeted PMs.\nActively participate in training and tests that are scheduled according to the risk level of your position in accordance with the applicable regulations.\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation and/or Experience\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent\nAssociates degree (preferred)\nPLC programming basic knowledge level.\nRobotics basic knowledge (preferably in Nachi and Fanuc)\nElectrical control basic knowledge.\nElectrical motors principles knowledge.\nElectropneumatic systems knowledge.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nKEY COMPETENCIES\nPosition will be assigned Curricula from the Bosch competency module that supports controls technician competencies upon hire\nTechnician as minimum with demonstrated ability to move to Advanced Level or equivalent work experience.\nProficiency in automatic equipment functionality and troubleshooting.\nMust possess good communication skills.\nAnalytically minded and self-driven to advance one’s own understanding and proficiency in automation control development.\nHigh level of teamwork, detail oriented, self-motivated, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic and challenging manufacturing environment.\nPHYSICAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
