Participation in a visit or interview does not guarantee employment.Essential FunctionsHarness Assembly & FabricationCut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and cables per work instructions and engineering drawingsAssemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies using techniques common in automotive and aerospace manufacturingPerform soldering, splicing, connector installation, and harness routingApply protective materials such as heat shrink, braiding, and insulationInstallation & IntegrationRoute and secure harnesses on mechanical structures and assembliesMaintain proper wire routing, bend radius, and strain reliefSupport integration of harnesses into larger systemsTesting & Quality ControlPerform continuity, resistance, and basic electrical testing using multimeters and related toolsConduct visual inspections to ensure quality and workmanship standardsIdentify and report defects, non-conformances, or inconsistenciesDocumentation & Process ComplianceRead and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and assembly instructionsAccurately complete production records, test results, and documentationFollow established manufacturing processes and quality proceduresSafety & Team CollaborationFollow all safety policies in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health ActMaintain a clean and organized work areaCollaborate with production, engineering, and quality teamsMinimum Qualifications (Basic Qualifications)High school diploma or GED0–2+ years of experience in:Wire harness assembly, ORElectrical/mechanical assembly, ORManufacturing/production environmentBasic ability to read work instructions or diagramsManual dexterity and ability to work with small componentsAbility to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodationMust be authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred QualificationsExperience in automotive wire harness manufacturing (e.g., SEWS environment)Experience with crimping, soldering, and connector assemblyFamiliarity with wiring diagrams, schematics, or blueprintsIPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or willingness to obtainExperience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturingTraining & Growth OpportunityOn-the-job training in aerospace harness standardsExposure to advanced testing equipment and processesOpportunity to transition from automotive manufacturing into aerospace productionKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAttention to detail and quality focusSteady hand coordination for precision tasksAbility to follow structured processes and instructionsTeam-oriented mindset and willingness to learnBasic troubleshooting skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsFrequent use of hands for fine motor tasks (soldering, crimping)Ability to lift up to 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to bend, reach, and work in tight spaces as neededPhysical activity associated with daily performance of this job include balance, climbing, fingering, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, twisting, pushing, reaching, repetitive motions, standing, stooping, walking and sittingAbility to work in controlled environments (including PPE or cleanroom if required)Work EnvironmentManufacturing and production settingMay include cleanroom or controlled environment conditionsExposure to tools, electrical components, and assembly equipmentUse of PPE requiredCompensationCompensation is based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
