This role focuses on model development, data handling, deployment, optimization, and integration of AI capabilities within secure, cloud-based federal IT environments.\n\n*This position is contingent upon contract award.*\nJob Duties and Responsibilities: :\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy AI and machine learning models.\n\nManage data ingestion, preprocessing, validation, and feature engineering.\n\nBuild, deploy, and maintain AI infrastructure and pipelines.\n\nOptimize model performance, scalability, and reliability.\n\nAutomate workflows and integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems.\n\nMonitor models in production and implement continuous improvements.\n\nCollaborate with product owners, developers, and data teams in SAFe Agile environments.\n\nEnsure solutions align with federal security, compliance, and governance requirements.\n\nMaintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.\nOther duties as assigned.\nJob Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience)::\nU.S. Citizenship (required). Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI or higher background investigation.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).\nMinimum 2 years experience\nExperience across the AI system lifecycle including development and deployment.\nProficiency with machine learning frameworks and programming languages.\nExperience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environments.\nDesired Qualifications:\n\nMaster’s degree in a technical field.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\n\nFamiliarity with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.\n\nExperience supporting federal or public-sector IT programs.\nKnowledge of AI governance, ethics, and security best practices.\n\nWork Location: Remote preferred with occasional on-site support in Washington, DC, as required.\n\nThis contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
