Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.\r\nPermitting Manager contributes to ION Solar by providing direct supervision and feedback to the Permit Technicians and the Supervisors, and working with Directors and other Department Managers in streamlining processes and resolving large-scale problems.\r\nDuties/Responsibilities:Hire, and train new staff\r\nCreate training documents and training materials for the team to utilize.\r\nMonitors inbound queues for calls, texts, and emails.\r\nInteracts with escalated customers and collaborates with other ION Solar members to build lasting relationships based on trust and reliability.\r\nMaintains queues and service levels to ensure that all inbound lines are working correctly.\r\nEvaluate staff effectiveness and performance with a focus on individual development on a weekly or an at-need basis.\r\nRuns daily huddles and weekly team meetings.\r\nUnderstanding and strives to meet or exceed set forth metrics while providing a consistent and positive customer experience.\r\nPrepare work schedules to ensure sufficient coverage.\r\nContributes to the company culture in a positive way\r\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\r\nRequired Skills/Abilities:Exceptional customer service\r\nExcellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills\r\nAbility to stay calm in stressful situations and meet strict quotas\r\nStrong grasp on the company's products, services, and customer service policies\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\r\nExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.\r\nAbility to multitask and stay organized\r\nProficient with computers, especially with CRM software.\r\nAbility to type at least 45 words per minute.\r\nExperience with call reporting\r\nEducation and Experience:A high school diploma or equivalent is required\r\nSeveral years of experience working in customer service and/or personnel management\r\nExperience in a call center environment (preferred)\r\nExperience with Salesforce Reporting (or a similar CRM)\r\nExperience with TalkDesk Reporting (or another phone system)\r\nIntuitive knowledge of data collection and analysis.\r\nWorking Conditions:Fast-paced, open floor office environment with significant computer and phone usage. Utilization of complex systems. Speed and accuracy are essential to the successful completion of tasks.\r\nProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regular requirement to talk, or hear; frequent requirement to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
