As a QA Test Engineer, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.\n\nMEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT\n\nDevelop software requirement specification (SRS) documents to support functional requirements affecting the technical file specifications (Mail.dat and Mail.XML).\nManage, update, and maintain all currently supported technical specifications and guides and develop new ones as necessary in support of new or revised functionality across systems.\nCustomer Acceptance Testing (CAT) to provide support to review Technical Requirement Documents (TRD), develop and update test scripts, perform customer acceptance testing, perform production validation through smoke testing and functional testing, document testing outcome and provide artifacts, provide TLSC documentation and Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).\nProvide expert personnel to meet with and participate in mail industry meetings/forums and Mailer Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC) workgroups, task groups and user groups.\nDevelopment of performance metrics to track and report status of Customer Acceptance Testing.\nAutomated test script development\nDevelop training materials, Standard operating procedures (SOP) and guides as it relates to impacted CPPP applications.\nOther related duties as assigned.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED\n\nEducation:\n\nBachelor's Degree; OR in lieu of degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required\n\nRequired Experience:\n\nMinimum of 5-7 years’ experience in technology or software development is preferred.\nExperience eliciting and documenting business processes and requirements.\nExperience creating manual and automated test scripts, performing customer acceptance testing or user acceptance testing; document test results, and providing test artifacts.\nExperience performing production validation through smoke testing, regression testing, and functional testing; document test results and providing test artifacts.\nExperience working with data files and formats such as CSV, XML, JSON; and relational databases.\nExperience with MS O365 tools: MS Excel, Word, Project, Visio, Access, Workflow\nHands-on knowledge of scripting languages such as SQL, Java, Python (optional)\nExperience with API Testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar\nExperience with software test management using Agile and/or Waterfall methodology.\nExperience using automation tools\nDemonstrated experience with automation testing tools using Artificial Intelligence (AI) or similar\n\nPreferred Experience:\n\nSoftware Testing certification is preferred.\nMail.DAT and Mail.XML are fundamental to the electronic data exchange of mailing information. Experience with Mail.DAT, and Mail.XML specification (highly desired but not required).\n\nSecurity Clearance Level:\n\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting\nThis position has a U.S. residency requirement.
