This position works closely with engineering and manufacturing teams and is well suited for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem solving, and working with sophisticated electronic equipment.\nBascom Hunter provides advanced solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD) and aerospace markets. Our Defense Electronics division develops, manufactures, and supports products across RF Systems, SATCOM, and Mission Computing.\nJob Duties\nAssemble electronic modules, racks, and systems in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and specifications.\nPerform testing and validation of electronic components, assemblies, and systems to verify functionality, performance, and reliability.\nTroubleshoot electrical and electronic issues encountered during engineering development, integration, testing, and production.\nDocument test results, troubleshooting activities, rework, repairs, and corrective actions.\nOperate test equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and power meters.\nSupport engineers with prototype builds, system integration, test setup, and technical investigations.\nWork with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify opportunities to improve assembly, testing, and troubleshooting processes.\nProvide technical support to engineering, production, and manufacturing personnel as needed.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians as appropriate.\nFollow applicable safety procedures and requirements when working with electrical equipment, electronic assemblies, and hazardous materials.\nRequired Qualifications\nAssociate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.\n3+ years of relevant electronics technician, electronics testing, integration, or troubleshooting experience.\nU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.\nHands-on experience using electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and related instrumentation.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose electrical and electronic issues.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to prioritize assignments and meet schedule requirements.\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within engineering and manufacturing teams.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility and willingness to learn new technologies, equipment, and processes.\nAll positions at Bascom Hunter are subject to background investigations.
