The Coordinator also handles various administrative tasks to support smooth store operations and enhance the client experience with ocassional client facing interactions to support both sales and service customer needs.\nPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities:\nInventory and Store Office Duties:\nInventory Opening Procedure: Oversee the Diamond Inventory Count in accordance with Store Manager Assignments.\nStock Coordination: Facilitate the transfer of stock in and out of the store.\nWebsite Orders: Fulfill online orders and prepare shipments to clients.\nOutgoing Purchases & Vendor Returns: Process and ship outgoing purchases and manage vendor returns.\nInterstore Transfers: Manage laydowns for Interstore Transfer Client Pickups and communicate with clients when items are ready.\nStock Replenishment: Oversee the replenishment of incoming stock and manage special orders within the system.\nMemo Inventory: Handle and manage memo inventory requirements.\nDiamond Verification: Conduct inspections and verification of inscriptions.\nLay-a-way Reconciliation: Prepare and review the Lay-a-way Reconciliation Report.\nInventory Opportunities: Identify and report missed inventory opportunities to the Inventory Director.\nPending Report: Maintain and manage the Pending Report for Special Orders.\nInventory Setup: Assist in setting up inventory in store displays during understaffed periods.\nDonated Items Coordination: Organize and manage the store’s donated items for nonprofit organizations.\nTrunk Show Support: Provide support for instore trunk shows, ensuring items are prepared before leaving the store.\nBack-Office Procedures: Open the safe, set up the office, and manage daily office tasks.\nEmail Monitoring: Monitor the Bath Store email for inquiries and correspondence.\nStocking Needs: Identify and address the store’s stocking needs.\nOffice Supplies: Order and stock general office supplies and branded materials related to sold inventory (e.g., jewelry boxes, bags, tissue paper).\nClient Experience Supplies: Ensure all client experience items (e.g., liquor, wine, beer, water, coffee) are stocked and available.\nCommunication Standards:\nAdvocacy for Sales Team: Act as a key advocate for the sales team, regularly gathering insights and feedback to address their issues and needs.\nTimely Communication: Ensure that sales team needs and concerns are promptly communicated to the inventory department to facilitate quick resolutions.\nFeedback Loop: Establish and maintain a feedback loop with the sales team to continually assess and address inventory-related issues and improve store operations.\nCollaborative Approach: Work closely with sales and service teams to ensure inventory processes support their objectives and contribute to a superior client experience.\nPreferred Experience:\nAdministrative/Operations Experience: 1-3 years in an administrative or operations role.\nProject Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and proactively solve problems.\nTeam Environment: General understanding of team dynamics and collaboration.\nCommunication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills across various departments.\nEducation: High school diploma required.\nPosition Details:\nWork Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Tuesday-Saturday.\nCompensation: Competitive pay and benefit package.\nHoliday Hours: Retail setting requires extended hours during the holiday season.\nAbout Springer's Jewelers:\nSpringer’s Jewelers is a coastal New England family-owned chain of jewelry stores that provides high quality fine jewelry to thousands of New England patrons and visitors.
