While the preference is for candidates to be based in Centennial, CO to facilitate in-person meetings and lab access as needed, fully remote candidates will be considered, with occasional travel required.\nKey Duties:\nDevelop and execute flight software integrated tests based on the requirements in the Integrated Test Plan.\nDevelop and troubleshoot KITE code and KITE tools to support development readiness and address identified errors in Formal Qualification Tests.\nSupport Requirements Verification Closure as needed.\nSupport responses to customer inquiries.\nGenerate and facilitate presentation charts for Incremental Reviews, Build Closure Reviews, or mission-unique Software Release Audits.\n\nRequired Skills, Experience, and Education:\nDue to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents are eligible for consideration at this time.\nThis position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. If you are unsure whether your ID is Real ID-compliant, please check for the star symbol in the upper portion of your driver's license or state ID.\nAbility to complete a pre-employment background check, breath alcohol test, and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.\n5 or more years of software development experience.\nExperience with C++ and Python.\nFamiliarity with software development and testing.\nExperience interpreting formal requirement specifications.\nAbility to support different shifts, including weekends, as needed.\nAbility to support occasional travel up to 25%.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.\nDesired Skills, Experience, and Education:\nStrongly desired: Experience using AI-assisted software development tools and workflows effectively to support software development, code analysis, testing, debugging, and documentation.\nExperience with Linux, object-oriented design, and software architecture.\nExperience with hard real-time simulations, concurrent programming, systems and network programming, data mediation, hardware/software integration, and communication protocols, including Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, and RS-422.\nExperience with modeling physical systems, including avionics, rocket engine propulsion, six-degree-of-freedom flight mechanics, inertial measurement systems, global positioning systems, GPS constellation emulation, integrated INS/GPS navigation, gravity, celestial bodies, state vectors, and coordinate system transformations.\nExperience with one or more of the following tools and methods: Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Bamboo, Google Test, and test-driven development.\nExperience participating on an Agile/Scrum team that practices swarming and a shared design philosophy.\nAerospace experience.\nBusiness Profile:\nCimarron is a global solutions company with a strategic partnering approach to satisfying customer-driven requirements.
