Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\n\nDescription\nCaptivation Software has an immediate need for a Full Stack Developer with back-end Java 8+ skills to support an efforts. Support will focus on software engineering of a tool suite, which delivers critical intelligence around the world at mission speed. The team supporting the work with cutting edge technology to manage high-volume and time-sensitive data throughput in response to Intelligence Community and world-wide partner needs. Support includes both sustainment of the existing tools and development of new features and functionality based on high-priority mission needs.\n\nCandidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly 1 week out of every 4-6 weeks). Staff may charge 12 additional hours (4 hours per system with 3 systems covered) for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.\n\nResponsibilities\nDeveloping distributed software; updating software code and fixing bugs; deploying applications\nInstalling and configuring complex software\nManaging network servers and technology tools\nMonitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance\nWriting scripts to automate general system operations or DevOps activities\nTroubleshooting and resolving issues and outages.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.\nFour (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree\nMaster's degree can be substituted for two (2) years experience\nRequired Skills:\nBack-end Java 8+\nDesired Skills:\nDevOps\nSpring Boot/Spring Cloud\nKibana/Logstash\nMongoDB\nDocker/Docker Compose/Docker Swarm\nRESTful web services\nAngular/TypeScript/GWT\nDrools\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
