Warranty Administrator
The Warranty Administrator is responsible for managing warranty claims, processing service documentation, coordinating with dealers and service partners, and ensuring accurate warranty recovery for charger products and related components. This position plays a critical role in customer satisfaction, cost control, and continuous product improvement by ensuring warranty cases are handled efficiently and in compliance with company policies.Responsibilities:Review, validate, and process warranty claims submitted by dealers, technicians, and service partnersVerify warranty coverage, labor times, parts usage, and supporting documentationCoordinate with technical support and engineering teams to determine root causes of failuresApprove, reject, or request additional information for warranty submissionsTrack and monitor warranty claim status from submission through closureMaintain accurate warranty records and databasesProcess warranty credits, reimbursements, and supplier recovery claimsAnalyze warranty trends, recurring failures, and field quality issuesGenerate weekly and monthly warranty performance reportsSupport product improvement initiatives by providing field failure data to engineering and manufacturing teamsEnsure compliance with company warranty policies and service proceduresCommunicate professionally with customers, dealers, and internal departments regarding claim status and resolutionsCoordinate return material authorizations (RMAs) and failed part inspectionsAssist in developing warranty processes, policies, and training materialsSupport audits related to warranty operations and documentation retention Skills / Other:Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Required Qualifications:Associate or bachelor's degree in business, industrial technology, or related field preferred2+ years of experience in warranty administration, service operations, or technical supportExperience in charging, industrial equipment, or related technical industries preferredStrong understanding of warranty processes, service documentation, and claim managementAbility to interpret technical service reports and diagnostic informationProficiency with ERP, CRM, and warranty management systems Preferred Requirements:Familiarity with charger diagnostics, electrical systems, and field service operationsKnowledge of supplier warranty recovery processesExperience working with dealer or distributor service networksUnderstanding of SLA and KPI performance tracking
