OEM Product Manager

Essential responsibilities: · Serve as the primary technical and commercial liaison for OEM customers. · Manage changes to project scope, schedule and costs. · Actively hands-on in understanding. manufacturing and quality of products. · Collaborate with engineering on product design, validation, testing and cost optimization. · Drive continuous product improvement initiatives focused on performance, reliability and cost savings. · Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and record-keeping. · Perform continuous risk assessment and follow up with appropriate actions. · Report project progress to management on a timely basis. · Support sourcing and supplier technical evaluations on critical components. · Partner with manufacturing to ensure timely delivery of samples and production products. · Analyze field performance, warranty data and customer feedback to drive corrective actions. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering, or equivalent work experience. · Knowledge of heat transfer principles and thermodynamics. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities. · Computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project. · Minimum of 5 experience in engineering or product management. · Proven organizational skills which include attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. · Experience working with OEM customers and willingness to travel as needed. · Strong cross-functional communication and project management skills.
