Sales Associates must be knowledgeable of all product lines. Sales Associates are also responsible for keeping the store neat, clean, and all merchandise properly displayed. Sales staff will support management in completing price changes, leveling, display resets and all basic visual standards needed to ensure a neat and clean store.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\nSupport the “Cavender’s Culture” and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values\nProvide friendly, courteous customer service and satisfaction by using professional and knowledgeable selling techniques\nAvoid high pressure selling tactics\nMaximize selling opportunities with each customer\nKeep abreast of the latest fashion trends in the western wear industry\nKeep work area neat, clean and organized\nBe knowledgeable about CBC policies and procedures\nKeep updated on sale promotions (items/prices/etc.)\nHelp stock merchandise and straighten store as needed\nReport to work promptly and neatly groomed\nBe security conscious at all times\nAlways scan product to ensure everything is in its correct area, signed correctly and neatly displayed. Associates in the boot department should always check for mismates\nWork with customers who return product for an exchange\nProvide knowledgeable responses to customer inquiries (e.g. boot and clothing fit, sale promotions, price, product workmanship and inventory)\nPerform all other duties as assigned\nWork with supervisors to understand all actions needed to impact the desire goals set by the company (i.e. ADS / UPT’s / Company or Vendor contest)\n\nQualifications and Requirements\n\nJob requires associate to raise or lower objects from one level to another regularly during shift\nAbility to comprehend basic instructions\nAbility to interpret documents\nAbility to apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks\nAbility to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond\nAssociate must be able to read English.\nAssociate must be able to understand English\nAssociate must be able to stay alert during work hours assigned\n\nCavender’s is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
