Come join the Seneca Foods team – Apply now!\n\nSeneca Foods Corporation’s Glencoe, MN facility is currently seeking a Full Time Field Representative to join our team. In Glencoe, we do it all! We have a full-time Labeling department, Frozen Corn on the Cob Packaging department, Field Reps to meet with local growers, and many Mechanics who make it possible to run a successful production! The Glencoe facility focuses on primarily Canning and Freezing, Peas, Lima Beans, Sweet Corn and Carrots. Our Peak Production season typically starts mid-June and wraps up mid-November. Responsible for contracting, planting, and harvesting pea and sweet corn acreage in a defined growing location.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and execute a plan to contract crop acres\nIssue seed, plant, survey for weeds and other pests, stake fields, sample crops, procure labor and equipment\nSupervise harvest of peas and sweet corn acreage, and maintain accurate records\nEncourage good grower and community relations\nEnsure that GMP’s (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced\nCross training with other departments as opportunities arise\nOther duties as assigned\n\nQualifications:\nFour-year degree in Agriculture or related field or equivalent experience\nMust be knowledgeable in all general agriculture areas\nMust demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills; a high work ethic and leadership/supervisory skills; written and oral communication skills\n\nStarting wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience from $62 to $72k.\n\nWe strive to attract and maintain a workforce that enriches our team experience and supports our shared vision for the future.
