As such, the default assumption for employees and partners is a hybrid schedule: some in-office presence and some work from home days absent certain essential in-office roles that require five (5) days/week in-office.\nPosition summary: Under the supervision of the Senior Docket Manager, the Senior Docket Analyst will be responsible for firmwide calendar support and court services. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nPosition responsibilities:\nDaily docketing of firmwide matters in firm calendar\nPerform case audits from calendar system\nRespond to requests for data on all matters in firm calendar\nTrain Docket Analysts in calendaring procedures and electronic filing procedures\nAssist Senior Docket Manager with calendar training and workshops\nResearch all local, state, federal and administrative rules as requested\nComplete court filings – including traditional (paper) filings and electronic filings\nAct as liaison between case teams and vendors regarding service of process and coordination of delivery/retrieval of documents\nnts from courts\nCoordinate or serve as project manager for special projects within the department on an as-needed basis\nReview, for form and procedural compliance, documents served and filed by the Firm\nKeep abreast of developments, procedures, and rules in the forums where the firm practices including general state and federal practice\nMentor new department members and help to promote an elevated level of accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of the Firm's docket systems\nMaintain and update various department resources\nAll other duties as assigned or required\nSkills & experience:\nRequired:\nAfter orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications\nAvailable to work overtime, as required\n4+ years of previous intake, electronic court filing and litigation docketing experience along with the proven ability to operate at an elevated level in terms of scope of responsibility, judgement and autonomy\nProficient in Compulaw or other rules based docketing systems. Proficient with online court systems (PACER, NYSCEF)\nPreferred:\nBachelor’s Degree\nExperience working in a law firm\nProficient in Westlaw (including Practical Law, Westlaw Edge and other related applications), LexisNexis (including Courtlink and other related applications)\n\nCompetencies:\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nGood judgment with strong analytical and interpretation skills\nStrong customer service skills\nAbility to work independently with little or no supervision\nAbility to work within a team and collaborate\nStrong ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks\nHigh degree of professionalism\nCooley offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefits package and is committed to fair and equitable employment practices.\nEOE.\nThe expected hourly pay range for this position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week is $41.00 - $57.00 ($85,280- $118,560 annually).
